Math 1010
Summer semester 2012 has come to an end. This semester I focused on English and math. In math we were assigned two group projects that focused on real life situations. Our group decided to do maximum profits and Utah population projection. Posted below is the maximum profits project, we had to decide how many computer desks and how many bookshelves a company must make in order to maximize total profit. We decided that they should make desks and not bookcases. Both projects were team focused and everybody participated in the final explanation of the scenarios. The group projects helped me understand the importance of collaboration between co-workers and the need to have people to work over math problems.
