C.E.E.N 1100
Introduction to Civil and Environmental Engineering
In fall 2012, I began taking Civil Engineering courses. C.E.E.N. 1100 focused on many things for example, communication and history. I had the opportunity to build a bridge, and research the Panama Canal. With the bridge, we spent a great deal of time researching the sky-bridge on the Petronas Twin Towers; however, due to scheduling conflicts between the group and construction delays I was forced to start a new project. The bridge I built was not researched as well as I should have, but for the most part it worked out great. One of the files attached is a brief report on the N.H.M. Truss Bridge; the N.H.M. stands for Nicks Home Made Truss Bridge. I have attached a few assignments specific to this course, for example the space shuttle Challenger Mission 51-l.
